Donna Woods and Bryan Owen

Bryan and Donna hail from the House of Dance.  Their extensive knowledge of dance spans about 15 years. They competed on the Step N Style country dance team for several years, in addition to competing as a couple on the country circuit.  During an event, they found West Coast Swing and fell in love with it.  Being swept off their feet by this dance, they formed the NEW Rebels Swing Dance Club, where Donna served as president for 6 years and Bryan served as Vice-President for 8 years.  Their background includes country, ballroom, swing, salsa, and horses!  Bryan and Donna were event directors for Swing Dance America in 2007, a national swing dance competition held in Milwaukee.  For seven years, they served as event directors for the Midwest Area Swing Dance Challenge in Oshkosh. Currently, they teach the ballroom dance program at Moraine Park Technical College in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin and host Co Co Blu dances in Columbus, Wisconsin, which integrate Country, Contemporary, and Blues music and most styles of dance.

Their teaching style is fun, creative, innovative, and fun!  Their focus is on lead-follow dancing while exuding style and technique in a fun, information environment.
