What
shall I wear to class?
Wear comfortable
clothes. Bring a pair of smooth-soled shoes (so you can
pivot and turn easily, without sticking to the floor).
Do I
need a partner?
No partner is needed
for our classes. In order to maximize learning, we rotate
our leaders and followers throughout the class. You are
welcome to choose to remain with the partner you came with, but
you will learn more and learn faster if you dance with a variety
of people.
When
can I move up to the Intermediate Lessons?
We recommend that
students repeat the A, B, and C series at least once to become
fully comfortable with the basic moves. From there, we
recommend taking the D series to become proficient at whips.
Then continue learning new moves for use on the social
dance floor by taking our intermediate lessons.
Most of
all, come out and social dance with
us! Social dancing begins after Wednesday night lessons,
right at Badger Bowl, at 8:00 pm.
